I recorded an mp3 file from a conference call but made a
mistake in the paramters. Now the recording plays at
high speed and cannot be understood. Here is what I typed:

sox -t ossdp -w -s -r 44100 -c 1 /dev/dsp -t raw -|lame -x -m s - ./testfile.mp3

What I mean to type was "-c 2" but instead typed "-c 1".

The question is can I salvage the high speed recording
and turn it into something useful?
