Back when I ran floppyfw, I configured it with a serial console, and
hooked a null modem cable to my linux box and used minicom to access it.
(you could do the same with Win9x & hyperterm or something)

As far as specifics, I don't remember.  To the best of my recollection I
followed some kind of instructions on the floppyfw web site or a link.

Of course the best solution is to upgrade to Devil Linux and have syslog
send your logs to another computer, and run the SSH server for remote
access from Win (putty) or Linux.   :-)     BTW, the base memory
requirements for the new beta release of Devil Linux are almost as low
as floppyfw these days (it _might_ run in little as 16MB, probably more
needed for sshd and syslog-ng).  See my presentation later this month!
