I am playing around with a spare linux box at home trying to see how
virtual sites work on apache. I am using no-ip.info to get a name for my
DHCP cable connection at home.
I have found several how-tos to get virutal sites up and running on
apache, but I can't find anything that tells me how I should be setting
up the DNS sides of things.
I have three sites, main (deuce868.no-ip.info),
site1.deuce868.no-ip.info, and site2.deuce868.no-ip.info.
If I set in my hosts file on a windows machine on my home network and
add all three sites with the internal IP of the machine Apache will
serve the three different sites just fine. Now when outsite the network
the only site to come up is the main one. site1 and site2 don't work.
What do I need to do to get site1 and site2 to resolve properly. I am
guess the request is just never getting to apache and thus it is not a
apache config prob.
I do have BIND set up on this machine, but only for internal DNS info.
Thanks for the help.
