Hi Bruce,

I know you want to go from Evolution right to CSV, but it doesn't appear
to do that. Of course, you came to this conclusion already, which is why
you posted the message. :) I don't know why they wouldn't put that
export or "Save As" feature in there, but apparently it's not.
However...

I found this one for Evolution and vCards. It worked as described:

To go from CSV to vCard:

I found a few messages talking about writing a vCard to CSV convertor in
perl, but nothing concrete. If I had the time, I might undertake such a
task. It doesn't seem like it would be too hard since they are only text
files. Here's one message on the topic:

Looks like vCard is the preferred format these days. It's readable by
lots of email clients, but possibly not the best interchange format.
Then again, I might just prefer CSV because that's what I've used for
the longest time to move data between applications.
