It would be fine if you were,  just about every question I ask on this
list involves something I'm getting paid for, either directly or
indirectly.  The only limitation is that you can't solicit your
commercial services directory - like asking people to hire you, or
looking to hire someone.  Most of the officers & volunteers of KLUG are
involved in IT as their primary means of income.  Technology is simply
too far-reaching and rapidly changing these days for the lone
developer/administrator/technician to keep track off;  hence user
groups.  That KLUG is a non-profit doesn't mean its members all are. :)

But it someone derives benefit from KLUG in providing commercial
services it is only reasonable to expect them to give a little something
back, either by presenting (write to programdirector@kalamazoolinux.org)
or becoming a supporting member -
