No, it is a desktop.  They [Compaq] had an entire product generation
where everything was an iPaq,  this is actually Compaq iPaq Evo.

This is actually the first time I've run Linux on one of these, due to
the fact that my Laptop is in for repair  (warranty expires next week so
lots of things were broke :)

1.2Ghz celery, 512Mb RAM, i815 video & audio, legacy free (nothing but
USB ports, video, & ethernet)

Everything just works,  so if someone is shopping for a cheap Linux
workstation I'd actually recommend one of these things.  Given that
performance under Windows 2000 Pro was TERRIBLE I'm stunned at how
RH9/XD2 performs - I'd almost think I was using a real computer.  I've
been using Linux since 0.99a, so I know the 'Linux is faster' mantra,
but am still reeling from the performance difference on this particular
box (which according to the sticker was "Designed for Microsoft
Windows").
