Nah, my VPN server's internal IP is 192.168.1.3, and PPTPd dolls out
192.168.1.20 - 192.168.1.29 to VPN clients.

IPSec is a major *P*I*T*A*. You couldn't make me do IPSec for almost
any amount of money - IPSec is just one RETARDED OBFUSTICATED JACKED-UP
technology. Someone thought: "Hmmmmm, how can we make the most
complicated, confusing, incompatible, and ornery VPN solution possible?"
- and IPSec was born.
I'd take a look at OpenVPN if you want an uber-secure certificate based
VPN system. And it actually works!
