[KLUG Members] Linux Jabber Client

I've finally got a Jabber server up and running.  Exodus (the Win32)
client seems to work and actually feels like a nice little app.

But does anyone here know of a Jabber client for Linux that doesn't
suck?  (i'd rather not have to download and build the bajillion of them
freshmeat lists - knowing the 99% of them are probably total crap).

I tried GAIM since it was already installed, and it can't even find the
server (lack of SRV support I guess, which pretty much takes it off the
list since the internal network basically runs on SRV records).
