[KLUG Members] Linux, iptables, kernel 2.6.6, nat, and H.323

Greetings, everyone.

I've been lurkin' for a while, but now I need some help, and I'm gonna
ask you guys.

I recently moved, and with moving I went from a lovely Comcast cable
connection to a DSL line. I've been able to get my DSL up and running
using a DSL program - since my DSL line requires authentication, etc.
So far, it's been working fine.

The issue is that the available linksys routers don't fully support
H.323 - only one or two of the 802.11B routers did. I personally tried
the G router, and it didn't work (and when I tested, I used those to
connect).

So, at this point, I'm using iptables and NAT to try to get my IP phone
to work, a polycom.

So far, I can get phone calls to work, sort of . Incoming calls come
in, and outgoing calls go out, except that the person on the 'other end'
can't talk to me - I can only talk to them.

So, obvoiusly, I'm having some sort of issue with incoming data - my
ports are open, and the support guy says that I need to be rewriting my
packets at my firewall.

I combed google, and google groups, and I can't find what I need - I
find some modules for the 2.4 kernel, but I *really* don't want to go
back to 2.4, I like 2.6...

Is there anyone with experience with things like this that could lend me
a hand?

TIA.

Adam
