Into the driver or the iBook?

What I'm thinking is going between the Ethernet port on the iBook and the
RedHat box and then accessing the iBook HDD from the Red Hat box and copying
the contents onto the Red Hat hard drive. I'm assuming (rightly?) that the
Linux can read the iBook formats (at least the OS X and hopefully the 9.2).
Is this what you need to know?
