[KLUG Members] Problem in installing linux red hat

Hey guys,
I have 2 quick questions here..

1. Can I update from linux 8 to linux 9.. I am pretty sure you can..but just
wanna be more than sure :)

2. When I start my computer with boot cd of redhat 9..
And I select language, location, and then when it comes to source of
installation... I cannot select my cd drive... even if I try to eject my CD
out of the drive..it wont... it just doesn't respond..

Any reason why? I have tried with different cd drives..but same problem..
