[KLUG Members] Suse 9 and XD2 cursor issue

I installed XD2 on my home workstation, Suse 9 pro, and lost the fancy
cursors and hourglass after log in. The old black pointer and stopwatch
showed up and wont go away.

When the system first boots the pointer and new hourglass work fine, just
after XD2 fires up. It seems I had this problem for a while on Fedora core
1 but after a couple of reboots it worked OK. Not this time.

Any thoughts from the XD2 users?
