Ok, the save many-many times trick seems to have fixed this.

Working now, after a red-carpet update. Hmmm. I originally installed
the XD2 packages JUST after they announced. An initial bug perhaps?

Haven't tried this one again yet, since red-carpet now works.

Suddenly on Friday afternoon rcd downloaded content into the channels
and I can update. Works like a champ. The SuSe channel has
holy-cow-a-lot-of-available-packages.
