[KLUG Members] Help for upgrade to Samba 3.0.1 (LDAPSAM) fm 2.2.8a anybody?

I recently set up a samba 2.2.8a LDAP PDC and am now trying to upgrade
to 3.0.1 using Buchan Milne's stuff from Ranger.
Platform is Mandrake 9.1

I've got it almost working but right now it is allowing anyone to
access the shares and wont add a machine even if there is already a
record in the machines ou.  I've been watching the logs but can't find
any recognizable errors.

Help?  I'll write an update for the Mandrake PDC HOWTO if I can get
help figuring this out. I think I've already gotten the database
reformated properly using the IDEALX scripts provided.
