Well, I can get one working in a couple of hours. But then I've done it
before - and my first time I had unfair advantages. That is I had a
known working OpenLDAP installation that was already doing other things
and contained at least posixAccount/posixGroup information, etc... for
everything. So it is really hard to say (at least for me) what the
initial learning curve is like since mine was spread out over years
simply by availability of the technology.

It might not be bad to walk away and do something else for a day and go
back. That trick works for me occasionally when I get mentally jammed
up.
