Thanks for the info.

When I installed xntp, "it" created /etc/ntp.conf when this info
already in the file:
------------------------------------------
server 127.127.1.0
fudge 127.127.1.0 stratum 10
driftfile /var/lib/ntp/drift/ntp.drift
logfile /var/log/ntp
------------------------------------------
