A few options,

Samba - http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/SMB-HOWTO.html
NFS   - http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/NFS-HOWTO/index.html

Samba allows the Windows file sharing methods.
NFS allows the Unix file sharing methods.

Then there's FTP, SCP, copy to a floppy or CD, etc...

Before more is posted, please tell us what kind of environment you have b/c it will greatly affect
which solution is best for you...
