I have a Compaq TSL-10000 tape changer/autoloader as Id 4 on the 4th
SCSI bus of an IBM x335. It shows as OK using tapeinfo...

moa:~ # tapeinfo -f /dev/sg14
Product Type: Tape Drive
Vendor ID: 'COMPAQ '
Product ID: 'TSL-10000 '
Revision: '5.02'
Attached Changer: Yes
SerialNumber: '0010201179'
MinBlock:1
MaxBlock:16777215
SCSI ID: 4
SCSI LUN: 0
Ready: no

The corresponding st device ....

st: Version 20040318, fixed bufsize 32768, s/g segs 256
Attached scsi tape st0 at scsi3, channel 0, id 4, lun 0

.... works great if I manually select the tape in the cartridge I wish
to use via the operator panel on the front of the device (but thats down
the hall behind two locked doors).

So I'm trying to use the mtx command to control the loading a tape from
the magazine, but I'm not having much luck...

moa:/proc/scsi # mtx -f /dev/sg14 eepos transfer 1 3 eepos equires
argument between 0 and 3.
moa:/proc/scsi # mtx -f /dev/sg14 load 3

Anyone know the correct syntax or trick for driving an autoloader?
