[KLUG Members] Feedback on possible IT student help

Sorry Greg, KLUG by-laws prohibit recruiting on the list. This was an
informational post only.

I looked through online catalogs for internships/externships practicums,
etc. Most of the degree programs seemed focused on academic studies rather
than hands on experience. Certificate programs more often included hands on
experience. But, most of the information I found was for students interested
in entering programs of study. Unfortunately, I couldn't find much
information on the duration, structure or complexity of these practicums,
let alone whom to contact about those kind of details.

I guess my next step will be to contact faculty directly. I will start with
schools closest to Elkhart, IN and go from there. If there is any mutual
interest, I can find out the guidelines for these programs. With that
information I should be able to put together a proposal to take to my
management.
