I'm trying to learn more about GRUB . . . Starting with a startup diskette. I dd'd Stage1 and Stage2 to the disk, which does boot to the GRUB> prompt. >From there do I just enter the commands from grub.conf namely: root, kernel, and initrd? If so, it's not working. However, everything boots fine from the harddisk. What am I missing? mk
