Right, thats a shared folder (a folder that has been shared) but not a
"shared" folder. A "shared" folder is a folder that does not exist
within the context of A user, that is 'under' their INBOX (although the
concept of 'under' is artificial).

There is
user.adam <---My Inbox
user.adam.yoyos <---My folder, which may be shared to u
departments.yoyos <---A "shared" folder, or if it isn't shared no one
will know it is there.
