[KLUG Members] BOOTP cards do not sent DNS Domain name, why?

I have various stand-alone Jet Direct boxes as well as ~15 HP4200n's
with built in Jet Directs.  All these use DHCP, and use DHCP by
default.  I plug them in, print the configuration which includes the
acquired IP, point the web-browser at the IP and configure.

No bootp to be found anywhere.  Saying BOOTP is superior to DHCP is
total idiocy, and I can't think of a single justification for that
statement.
