I'm actually not against paying for stuff, but for $1,100 I think way to
much would be repeat of what I already know. I only like to pay for
stuff when at least ~50% is new (to me) content.

$200 dollars for the test(s) doesn't seem to bad, especially now that
Novell is going that route, which gives it some credibility.

I'm curious if they are doing this without us anyway? Do they have
people asking THEM for LPI, and are drawing people from other sources?
Are they offering LPI to students? (I have my 'original' "UNIX System
Administration" certificate from GRCC). I have a pretty positive
impression of the *institution* of GRCC, although I think my certificate
ain't worth crap - the courses should have been much harder - I remember
completing my final exam in under five minutes, what a joke.

I'd choose #2, but I want to say that if I had to choose a college it
would be GRCC over any of the other crap institutions in the area.

Of course #3 is the least work! :) Honestly, I'd be surprised if we
haven't covered much of what is on the LPI in the course of our regular
presenters.

So you provide three options and then tell us we can only pick from two
of them? :)
