There's also a place in Rockford, right next to the Kent County 
recycling dropoff, called Comprenew that recycles computer stuff.  I 
looked into trying to dump off some junk to them, but they only seemed 
to want to talk to businesses.  A bit of info at 
http://www.comprenew.com.  If you try them out, let the list know how it 
goes.  I suspect quite a few of us have old  computer parts we'd like to 
get rid of in an environmentally friendly way.
