[KLUG Members] new SUSE installation problems

I have just installed a new SUSE 9.1 system here.  The apache2 web
server will not start up.  I have tried starting it from the command
line and from the runlevel editor in YAST.  It looks like it starts
but then just shuts down again.  I do not get any error messages on
the screen and there is nothing in /var/log/messages about the http2
deamon either.  I installed this system to be a web server primarily
and so this is getting really frustrating.  Any ideas?
