The db admin should impose the required protections using the engines
grant/revoke mechanism.  Of course they could still hijack the
uber-account (if you have one).  MySQL can do that.

I see some unbruised areas left to kick....

Actually I'm curious if anyone uses a db engine OTHER than than MySQL or
PostgreSQL on Linux?  First hand experience with SAPdb, Oracle,
SQLlite...?
