presentation of our TCO series, making the business case for Open Source
in the "real world".

Tonights presentation will focus on the ROI (Return On Investment) for
the deployment of open source solutions and the issues that tag along;
address how to go about building the TCO (Investment) part of the
equation, how to quantify the gains and the benefits and how they all
fit together over time, which involves change.

By:
Elizabeth Ziph, co-founder of The Linux Box Corporation, has over 25
years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Most
recently she had been Senior Vice President and Director of Information
Technology at Franklin Bank in Southfield, Michigan. Prior to joining
Franklin Bank, she held the position of Associate Director of
Information Technology Division at the University of Michigan. She has
also served as Vice President of Information Systems at Comerica Bank.
Elizabeth holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from The City
University of New York.
