Yes.

Microsoft.  If you don't have three CDs of SFU sitting around that came
stuffed in every conceivably related publication then your a rare bird.

Another approach would be to use Kerberos and nss_winbind.  That would
require nothing on their DCs; but a steeper learning curve for you.
