Setting up a Samba server to handle some files for Win machines, I can make it browseable but the boxes can't see anything inside the server, nor can they ping it by name (they can ping it by IP address). The server gets its IP address via DHCP from a linux firewall. This seems like it should be simple. kind regards, bill
