To debug the crash you almost certainly need to raise the debug level;
10 is the normal level for troubleshooting crashes.

Yep, surpisingly this is normal. These are browsing wars, and go on
non-stop on Windows networks. WINS save you from some of the fall out
of this broken-by-design technique of managing namespace.
