[KLUG Members] Partition and format external HDD

I've got a new external HDD (USB) that I want to repartition and format.
It's now 80 GB FAT32. I want about 20 GB FAT32 and the rest NTFS.

I don't think I can use DOS and Fdisk to do this, since DOS doesn't
recognize USB.

I tried to do this from my Mandrake 10 partition, using Disk Drake. I went
through all the steps of repartitioning and formating (both partitions as
FAT32 since it didn't give a NTFS option). Mandrake shows the drive with the
two desired partitions, but when I go back to XP it is still seen as one
partition and the old files are still there (i.e., it hasn't been
partitioned or reformatted). When I look at the drive on my desktop RedHat 8
it also shows the two partitions.
