Other distro's have switched already;  Fedora switched in the midst of
an FC (up2date wanted to replace the X server, this went badly on lots
of boxes).  But I think the switch is inevitable as XFree is basically
dead;  I haven't had any problems with X.org boxes once it was up and
running.

It is sad that XFree/X.org had to split, but thats water under the
bridge.
