[KLUG Members] synchronizing samba and kerberos password

smbk5pwd is the only such solution I know of.  I use it with heimdal
kerberos.  I found compiling it for ldap to be the pain so the idea that
it is part of the ldap source sounds wonderful beyond belief. n Check to
see if it is intended to be functional with mit.  If so, for me getting
ldap to get it to work was:

in slapd.conf:
moduleload /usr/lib/openldap/modules/smbk5pwd/smbk5pwd.la

in /etc/ldap.conf
pam_password exop
