To provide a limited security context.

No, I donit think so.  Guest is non-authenticated,  similair to the security
contect Windows machines use when communicating with each other via the IPC$
share (which they do allo).

The user name of you current session unless you specify otherwise.

> Is guest ok=yes and public=ok is same?

I believe so.
