I've got a manual for a ScanMaker copier on the CD that came with it.
I'm trying to copy it to my HDD and get this strange result: It will
open (in XP) in Acrobate Reader 3.0 when I click on the document on the
CD. But I get no Save option there.  When I try to open it with Reader
6.0 (on XP) or with GHostView on Linux, only the first 6 pages open.
Likewise, when I try to copy it from the CD, only the first 6 pages
copy.

Does anyone understand what is happening here?
