How do you get stuff out of the print queue? I had hit print several
times where for some reason or other the computer wasn't sensing the
presence of the printer. Then when it finally did, I couldn't stop the
printing--sorcerer's apprentice syndrome. I have tried turning the
printer off and on but it still keeps coming when the printer is turned
back one.

On windows there's a printer window on the control panel where you can
control these things, but I haven't found anything like it on Gnome.
