[KLUG Members] Family tree program

I got GRAMPS running on SuSE 9.2 this way:

1) tar zxvf gramps-1.0.10.tar.gz

2) change to the gramps-1.0.10 directory

3) run ./configure Whatever packages it says you need, fire up Yast and
install them. The configure script won't tell you specifically what
packages, but look for words in the error message that might point you
to package names and install those plus the "dev" or "devel" packages
with the same name. It took a few passes of ./configure until it was
ready to build.

4) make, sudo make install

By default, it places the executable in /usr/local/bin. Run it from
there.

If you installed any package, run the Yast online update to make sure
whatever you installed in step 3 gets updated if it needs to be.

Worked for me. YMMV. Gramps seems to be a nifty family tree
application.
