Here's the url for the pub's description of the book I passed around at
the meeting last night:
    Wells, Nicholas. The Complete Guide to Linux System Administration
(Thompson Course Technology 0616216166).  It is just out--was not
available at Amazon till January 05.

It's a basic (introductory) text for class use (not a trade book--priced
as a textbook  :- (
