After some looking around, I opted to buy an ASUS WL107G card.

$32.00 at newegg.com, and ASUS' site boasts " Easy to use with drivers for
Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows 98 SE and Linux Redhat version
7.1 or later" which gives me some faith that I can get it working with
Slackware 10.0.

I'll let you guys know my level of success or failure with it.

It +should+ use the orinoco driver, which is already present on my laptop.
