If you maintain that group as an alias and Bcc the alias I believe the
message will just appear in most clients as 'undisclosed-recipients'.

Also just using an alias should be safe;  I send a mail
cisstaff at morrison-ind.com,  it shows up as To:cisstaff at morrison-ind.com.
