[KLUG Members] Qmail+ldap question

Hello everybody.

I just set up a qmail server using LDAP as a backend.

In order for this system to be a bit more user-friendly, however, I'll
need to configure maildrop to plug in with delivery so that I can both
allow both normal filtering (required) and spam filtering (also required).

I'm running spamd in the background, and have an exception in my
mailfilter file to call spamassassin.

In my LDAP user profile, I have deliveryProgramPath as
/usr/local/bin/maildrop. I've tried that, as well as having my
mailfilter file directly after it : /usr/local/bin/maildrop
/path/to/.mailfilter . But, it would appear that maildrop was being
ignored.

I've also found another site taht recommended I put
|/usr/local/bin/maildrop /etc/maildroprc into my defaultdelivery file,
but that doesn't allow ANY mail to get delivered.

Are there any reliable and easy ways to get maildrop to plug in with
qmail-ldap that I could get running? I haven't spent an *inordinate*
amount of time on maildrop yet, but it'd be nice to see it working
without the fuss that qmail-ldap in general took to get running (and I
haven't started on qmail-scanner on the patched code yet, either.)

TIA,

Adam
