If so, I'd look into running "xfs_check" and/or "xfs_repair".
And maybe "badblocks" if you suspect your disk is going bad.

If it's your system partition, you'll probably have to boot single user
or boot from a standalone CD and run them on the unmounted partition.

I'd go with a standalone CD that has those programs, like Devil-Linux,
or another recent boot CD that has the XFS progs (maybe Knoppix?).
