Per conversation last night at the meeting, here are some MUST HAVE tools to deploy out to all of your Windows boxes so you will feel more at home!

Command line email sending...
http://sourceforge.net/projects/blat/

Add almost all of your standard GNU tools...
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gnuwin32

I prefer these projects over Cygwin as they run right in your normal cmd.exe session vs having to be run only in the special Cygwin VM session. All of the paths stay the way they are for the rest of the operating system, you just get the handy GNU tools at your fingertips. Example...

D:\Distrib\GnuWin32\bin>ls -al
total 15503

-rwxrwxrwx    1 MLueck   0           12800 Jan 10  2003 basename.exe
-rwxrwxrwx    1 MLueck   0          116736 Jun  7  2004 bunzip2.exe
-rwxrwxrwx    1 MLueck   0          116736 Jun  7  2004 bzcat.exe
<snip>

So download them, add them to your path, and have Bill bowing to Tux as things should be! ;-)
