[KLUG Members] Am I missing some nss option

I have attempted to do what I have succeeded with in the past.  The
_ldap._tcp srv records work quite well at directing nss to an ldap
server/port combination.  DNS is successfully directing the nss clients
to different servers in a round robin type fashion.  The client is
however not going to the 2nd server when the first server is not
responding.  Am I missing something.  If I stop one server and then
repeatedly id a user, it fails every other time.
