[KLUG Members] Suse login problem

I'm running a Suse 9.2 NIS server. I changed the password on the server
for a user account using the passwd command. I can login to other Suse
9.1 boxes with ssh using the new password, but I can't ssh to other Suse
9.2 boxes. The password is the longer type that begins with the $2a$....

Is this a PAM problem? A library problem? I would have expected the
other 9.2 boxes to work and the 9.1 to have issues since the passwd was
changed on a 9.2 box.
