[KLUG Members] Mandrake updates?

I downloaded the PPC ISO images for Mandrake 10.1 and installed them on
a Powerbook.  Now it seems to require me to _pay_ a subscription fee to
get the updates.  Is that the way Mandrake works, or am I missing some
way to get the current updates for free?  (I don't mind paying, but I'm
just evaluating different PPC distros now and I don't want to pay money
unless I decide to keep Mandrake)

Back to my PPC Ubuntu Hoary Preview install (w/new Gnome 2.10) ...  :-)
