We have iBooks on our network (OS/X, not OS/9).  We didn't have to do
anything at all, they just worked: DAV & CIFS file-sharing, IPP
printing, DHCP, proxy detection, etc...  They didn't even need to
install print drivers.  I don't think any of them joined the CIFS domain
(for authentication) as they are all notebooks and thus pretty stand
alone anyway;  but I believe they use an NSS equivalent so it shouldn't
be any hurdle to support if your DSA/Dit is RFC2307 compliant.
