I tried log monitors for awhile but many were so flaky, and the projects
tended to die out so fast, that as a genre I've pretty much given up on
them.  If someone know of a nice one that doesn't take a man-year to
configure and has been active for >48 months then I'm certainly
interested (and doesn't require installing the complete contents of CPAN
on my box).
