Yes. Safe to assume that I've already checked ports.
Just so you believe me:
unix 2 [ ACC ] STREAM LISTENING 71478
19886/authdaemond.p /var/run/authdaemon.courier-imap/socket.tmp
Telnetting to port 143/993 ends me up with the standard IMAP looking
gobbledegook.
/var/log/maillog notes connections, and lists failures:
May 20 13:54:50 radon imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:10.50.0.240]
May 20 13:54:57 radon imapd: LOGIN FAILED, ip=[::ffff:10.50.0.240]
May 20 13:55:00 radon imapd: DISCONNECTED, ip=[::ffff:10.50.0.240],
headers=0, body=0
Notably silent is the vmailmgr log. There's just notes of it starting
in there, with no clients or anything.
If I remove the authvmailmgr file from
/usr/lib/courier-imap/libexec/authlib, imap complains.
IT sounds like authvmailmgr isn't talking to it's deamon, perhaps?
