BTW, do you have Charter for your cable?  (I do)

If so, and if you have one of their standard Motorola digital boxes,
mine has a serial port on the back, which you can connect to your Myth
backend, and configure Myth to change channels on the cable box with a
serial addon program.  

I have one of my PVR-250's connected to the cable box (channels 1-999),
and the other is connected to the cable off a splitter before the box
(channels 1-99).  Myth knows which channels are available on each, it
knows how to change the channels differently on each card, it knows when
the same program is available on either card, and you can set priorities
on the cards if you like.  Very slick!  :-)
